i would just like to clarify a little bit, the pbr is setup up like the prca. you can join as simple as buying a permit and filling out an application. the built ford tough series is the big time series, the pbr pulls riders from the smaller, pro-touring divisions, challenger tour, enterprise rent a car tour, and the discovery tour. the samller tours are where you start. I rode in the prca for a year, and will be buying my pbr card this next year, when i heal abit. GOOD LUCK TO YOU ALL!
Good video and very educational
Showed it to a non- rodeo-er and they liked it as well . Thanks for posting
Maybe even Code Blue
Tuff Hedeman’s real name is Richard Hedeman
hey i grew up going to rodeo in colbert owned by hoyt winnet..i love it..
I definitely will. Thanks.
im not that type of person bud . plus it takes balls to ride bulls ….2000 lbs full of TNT trying to shake a 150-180 lbs guy is no match … it takes a special breed of men (and woman) to step up or should i say sit down and hold on for 8 seconds . ha some people say 8 seconds ..thats not much .thats when i say … i want to see you try it , and then tell me 8 seconds is nothing .like the pros say … 365 days of pain .8 seconds of glory !!!! its not a passion, its an obsession. enjoy !!!
Well thank you for not shooting me down. Lol. Even if people do it won’t stop me. I’m just getting food for thought. Ya know like realistic opinions. See how cool it’ll be to prove people wrong. I mean Michael Jordan is the best example that you don’t have to start at something young to be good at it.
haha … maybe a bit late, but not to late,i think pros have to invite you to ride in the pbr … … but you never know … great things happen when unexpected actions are preformed …( wow i came up with that one all by myself hahah ) and good for you bud …
you should try it anyways .. good for you …
Nope….. Will be in a month though.
this is a hell of a bull …
have you ever ridden a bull before ????
i know his son trevor. he ropes i heard tuff wouldn’t let trevor and his other son lane ride bulls. trevor is a pretty good roper.
Yeah saying Lane is better than Tuff is like saying Eminem is better than Vanilla Ice. Its preference DAMMIT! And I like both rappers. And both bull riders.
Would you say 23 is too old to start and make it into the PBR?
I saw it once somewhere. I would like to see it again.
sadly no.
Did you ever find it?
excellent video. thanks for posting
Hedeman has a reputation in Las Vegas for abusing casino employees. He is a legend at the Gold Coast for the years of verbal abuse he put people through.
People used to complain about Adriano pulling his rope really tight, arguing that it takes some of the starch out of a rank bull. But, true, there’s no rule against it. Harry Tompkins (1950s) used to have girls pull his rope. He was a total master of balance and a showman to boot!
It doesn’t matter how tight the rider’s bull rope is. If he isn’t good enough to stay on the bull, he’s going to get bucked off. Using more than one person to pull your rope is not cheating. If it were, it would not be allowed, such as having spurs in the loop holds of the bull rope is not allowed.
In OKC in 1967 Freckles Brown rode Tornado at the NFR, a bull that had never been riden. Another interesting note is that Brown was 47 years old at the time.
If anyone has video of that ride, I’d be interested in seeing it.
Lane Frost admired the hell out of Freckles Brown and I’m sure Tuff did as well.
i think big tex has been rode once but hes underrated. everyone has their eyes on bones… the only reason bones was rode is because he had a hip and shoulder out. big tex was rode because he had an off day
do u know where i can find a video of the ride Hedeman did to pay tribute to LAne frost?
