Being a rodeo cowboy for over 8 years worth of riding, I have always wanted to capture the feeling it gives to experience the rush only bull riding can allow. While some might argue that cage fighting is the closest thing to the roman gladiators I have to disagree to an extent in favor of bull riding. While both are dangerous, require a tough breed of person and take much skill, bull riding is always held on a dirt floor and the possibility of death is more imminent considering the opponents mentality and size. Although with anything, the largest opponent being within our selves, we can only be the one’s responsible for a limitation of capability and how much will be accepted of tolerance. The last photo in the vid is one of my own. I was on a bull named Yellow Dog. As you can clearly see, I was in the house of pain area on his back, but it was near the end of the ride luckily. What a bucker he was and the spin I was in was awesome! While I intend to remake this vid for a longer one with actual video footage of my personal experience behind the chutes and on the bulls, I was impatient and had accumulated enough good pictures of other riders off the web to make a short one for now. Anyhow I hope you like it for what it is for now and to the riders I salute you! The song is from a scene in the movie “Ali” and it always inspired me with thoughts of accomplishing great things with it’s emotional and powerful pace and tone.
